DESCRIPTION. Derian is 5'9, lean, good muscle tone. He has light grey, somewhat deepset eyes, that reflect the colors of green. He has a straight face and narrow nose. His hair is a dark shade of chestnut, straight, flat, and with little volume. It is long enought to pull back in a small ponytail, but he normally wears it down and hanging in his face. He has 1 earring and no scars. He wears loose fitting, dark, solid colored T-shirts, a corduroy jacket, and cargo pants, usually dark blue, tan, or black. He wears a silver chain with his family crest as a charm.
INFORMATION. Derian was born Oct. 23, 1785 in the city of Orleans, France. He was the youngest of 6. His family was middle class. His father worked as a blacksmith. He was given his first sword at age 6. He learned sword fight from his 2 older brothers when he was 11. His mother died in childbirth and his father remarried a few years later. He was taught to read and write at 4. He went to school until he was 15, then went to work in the family business. He became a vampire on a cold winter night on his way home from a tavern. He stayed with his maker for 3 yrs, at first hating what he had become, and later learning to love it. He was discovered by 2 hunters 67 yrs after becoming a vampire and nearly killed after underestimating them. He has known little other vampires and seeks a friend of any kind.
